Awards recognize excellence in applications of AI across drug development
Quotient Sciences has been recognized as a finalist in the Fierce Pharma 2026 AI Innovation awards. The awards recognize organizations that are moving beyond Ai pilot programs to deliver measurable business impact.
Award categories highlight how AI is being applied across the value chain, from R&D and clinical trials to commercialization, manufacturing and care delivery. The category "AI Innovation in Manufacturing & Supply Chain" recognizes Quotient Sciences along with Bio-Rad Laboratories and Bow & Stern Proffesional Services Ltd as finalists.
Category finalists have been selected based on how their AI solution reduces risk, improves predictability, and enhances early decision-making. Category winners are set to be announced at the end of next month in an upcoming Fierce Pharma feature.

At the end of May, following MHRA approval, Quotient Sciences initiated a clinical study evaluating a novel drug product developed using artificial intelligence.
The model is trained from scratch on each client's own experimental data, learning specific behavior of their molecule within candidate formulations as the program progresses. Developed in collaboration with Intrepid Labs, the approach was used to design the drug product that achieved this progression to Phase I.
The platform identified multiple viable formulations and created a digital twin of the drug product, enabling in silico simulations to inform and de-risk development. Across programs, this capability has the potential to deliver estimated time savings of 30–50% from formulation development through to clinical testing.
At the start of the study, Andy Lewis, Chief Scientific Officer, commented: “This approach, coupled with our Translational Pharmaceutics® platform, enables our customers to make earlier, more informed decisions with greater confidence.”
