Quotient Sciences is committed to building a more sustainable, inclusive, and resilient future through a robust ESG strategy. Our ESG Committee meets quarterly to review performance data and drive improvements across key areas including health and safety, energy consumption, waste management, ethics, learning and development, employee engagement, and employer branding. 

Yes. Quotient Sciences has a current EcoVadis score of 72/100 and has been awarded a Silver Medal for its sustainability performance.

In 2024, we began incorporating emissions from Purchased Goods & Services into our Scope 3 reporting, which is an ongoing process to improve the completeness and transparency of our greenhouse gas inventory. 

In the UK, 100% of our purchased electricity was from renewable sources in 2024. Globally, 30.12% of our electricity was sourced from renewables or supported by Renewable Energy Certificates (RECs). We continue to work towards increasing this proportion. 

Our Carbon Management Plan is under ongoing development. We have committed to setting a Science-Based Target for emissions reduction and are in the process of defining and validating this target in 2025. 

In 2025, Quotient Sciences became a signatory to the UN Global Compact, and we are working to align our operations with its ten principles on human rights, labor, environment, and anti-corruption.

We have identified four UN Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) that best reflect our vision and values, and we are working to align our ESG strategy with these goals. 

We have an initiative in place to submit our Letter of Commitment in 2025. We are actively working towards setting a Science-Based Target for emissions reduction. 

We conduct annual GHG assessments across all three scopes (Scope 1, 2, and 3) and have implemented a hybrid approach to data collection, combining activity-based and spend-based analysis. Our greenhouse gas reporting is designed to align with the GHG Protocol Corporate Standard. We are continuously working to improve data quality and transparency. 

ESG performance data is considered in our supplier assessments to support alignment with our sustainability goals and inform responsible sourcing decisions. We recognize that influencing supplier practices is an ongoing challenge and continue to strengthen our approach. 

We have a dedicated EHS (Environmental, Health & Safety) team at each site, regular audits, and robust internal tracking systems for regulatory deliverables and due dates. Our operations are governed by a Global EHS Policy and site-specific procedures. 

We have implemented enhanced water metering, SOP-guided wastewater disposal, leak detection protocols, and waste management practices. All hazardous waste is disposed of by licensed contractors, and we are committed to reducing single-use plastics and energy consumption in labs. 

A new DEI training program was rolled out globally in 2024, reaching 79% of colleagues. We are committed to increasing opportunities at work, refreshing recruitment processes, and reducing workplace inequality through leadership training, education, and awareness initiatives. 

All documentation and personal information are handled in accordance with GDPR and our internal SOPs. We have a Data Privacy Compliance Policy, regular staff training, and robust technical and organizational measures to protect data. 

Yes. We have a formal Whistleblowing Policy, and all employees are encouraged to report concerns without fear of reprisal. All concerns are formally investigated and treated as strictly confidential. 

We have a Global Environmental, Health & Safety Policy, regular training, and site-specific procedures to ensure compliance with all relevant health and safety regulations. Our clinical units are accredited and regularly audited. 

We are expanding STEM outreach initiatives across our sites and are committed to supporting local communities and educational programs. 

Our ESG Committee meets quarterly to review data and drive improvements. Metrics are produced monthly and presented to senior management as a Quality Report. We are committed to continuous improvement and regularly review our ESG strategy to identify opportunities for progress. 

Supplier selection, qualification, and approval are covered by our SOPs. ESG criteria are included in supplier assessments, and regular audits are conducted to ensure compliance. 

We publish a Modern Slavery Statement and Supplier Code of Conduct, and all suppliers are required to comply with our standards on human rights, labor, and ethical business practices. 

We have a Global Policy for Anti-Corruption and Bribery, regular staff training, and robust procedures to ensure compliance with the UK Bribery Act, US Foreign Corrupt Practices Act, and other relevant laws. 

We provide environmental data at the site level and can support clients with additional ESG information upon request. Our ESG strategy is designed to align with client expectations and industry best practices.
